Hominis

§ Team

The people
behind it.

Hominis began as a collaboration between the PICUS Lab at the University of Naples Federico II and Deepkapha AI Research, with support from NVIDIA. A small group drawn to the same unfashionable idea: that an agent worth trusting is one that knows its own limits.

Portrait of Narendra Patwardhan

Narendra Patwardhan

Lead author · Models & framework

PhD candidate at the University of Naples Federico II and a researcher at Deepkapha AI Research. He works on large language models, foundation models, and efficient deep learning — making capable systems smaller, more sustainable, and more dependable. He led the design of the Hominis model family and its agentic framework.
